Scanning speed up to 5,800,000 measurements/s
Net weight 570g
Flexible modes for different needs
The 3D laser scanner offers three scanning modes to suit different needs: ultra-fast scanning, hyperfine scanning and deep-hole scanning. It is easy to use for both professionals and beginners, and handles GD&T measurements, assembly analysis, maintenance, modifications and more with ease.
Industrial-grade accuracy
SIMSCAN Gen2 delivers high-accuracy 3D measurements with an accuracy of up to 0.020 mm and high repeatability, making it ideal for applications that demand fine detail and reliability. Its metrology-grade performance ensures precise, consistent results across industrial scenarios, from product development to quality inspection.
Excellent for fine detail
Equipped with 17 parallel laser lines, it quickly generates point clouds for efficient, high-accuracy data capture, even in narrow spaces. It handles complex structures and fine details with ease.
High-speed scanning
It enables fast 3D scanning, with speeds of up to 5.8 million measurements per second on SIMSCAN 42 Gen2. With advanced algorithms, 27 blue laser crosses and quick data capture, it ensures smooth, efficient 3D digitization to obtain accurate digital twins.
Black and reflective surfaces
It reliably captures complex structures, fine details and even black and reflective surfaces. An additional blue laser line is dedicated to deep-hole scanning, making it ideal for reaching confined areas such as holes and slots, and for rigorous inspection of complex parts.
Automated 3D measurement
The scanner can be integrated with Scanology automated 3D measurement systems for continuous, high-volume inspection. This setup removes the limitations of manual methods and significantly improves efficiency across all stages of the manufacturing process.
