3D Scanning Sprays

State-of-the-art permanent 3D scanning spray

AESUB white

  • Permanent state-of-the-art scanningspray
  • Free of titanium dioxide nano particles (TiO2)
  • Thin and homogenous coating
  • Developed and approved by scanning experts

AESUB white is a permanent scanning spray developed by scanning experts. It is the result of consistent further development of permanent scanning sprays.

The spray applies a homogeneous, thin matting layer onto the surface of the object. It is developed for optimal contrast values in optical scanning applications. AESUB white contains pigments, propellant and solvent and has been optimized with regards to material compatibility. AESUB white sets new standards by optimizing the surface’s homogeneity and reducing layer thickness. Unlike traditional sprays, AESUB white is free of titanium dioxide, associated with cancerogenic incidents through inhalation by the European Chemicals Agency.

How to apply AESUB white?

Shake
Shake well until loud noise.
Spray

Apply AESUB white from 15-20 cm away. Spray over the entire surface that you will be scanning. Gently push down the spray button and move the can across the area using even, back and forth strokes. Move at a consistent pace without pausing at one point to achieve an even coat. Once the coat is applied, you can scan the object in usual manner.

Make sure not to spray next to your sensors and sensible equipment, as AESUB white is a permanent scanningspray containing pigments that will contaminate the nearby environment.

Scan

Scan can be started as soon as you have a stable and white coating.

Scan object in usual manner.

Done

AESUB white is a permanent scanningspray. Coated parts need to be cleaned or disposed after scanning. AESUB white was developed to allow easy cleaning. Utilize a soft brush in combination with water and a towel to clean coated parts.

AESUB blue

  • Disappearing state-of-the-art scanningspray
  • No cleaning required
  • Thin and homogeneous coating
  • Free of pigments
  • Developed and approved by scanning experts

AESUB blue is a self-vanishing scanning spray developed by scanning experts. The spray evaporates within a few hours, meaning that there is no need for cleaning after scanning. Unlike traditional sprays, AESUB blue does not contain pigments and thus avoids pigment-contamination of sensitive areas, such as laboratories and production sites, equipment and users. You can therefore apply AESUB blue directly, on spot of scanning, without any costly transport to avoid said pigment-contamination in sensitive areas. Overall, AESUB blue greatly increases efficiency and productivity within the digitizing processes.

How to apply AESUB blue?

Spray
Apply AESUB blue from 15-20 cm away. Gently push down the spray button and move the can across the area using even, back and forth strokes. Move at a consistent pace to achieve an even coating. Spray over the entire surface that you will be scanning.
Scan

Scan can be started as soon as you have a stable & white coating.

Scan object in usual manner.

Done
The applied coating of AESUB blue sublimes and thus eliminates the need for complex cleaning after use.

AESUB orange

  • Disappearing state-of-the-art scanningspray
  • Long-lasting
  • No cleaning required
  • Thin and homogeneous coating
  • Free of pigments
  • Developed and approved by scanning experts

AESUB orange is a long-lasting self-volatilizing scanning spray developed by scanning experts. It eliminates basic application problems of 3D metrology, especially in sensitive areas (laboratories, production, etc.) and protects the equipment from contamination by deposition of pigments. Expensive transports of externally matted measuring objects to the sensor as well as the time-consuming cleaning of the measuring environment and objects after scanning are no longer necessary. With AESUB orange, you achieve a significant increase in efficiency and productivity in the entire digitization process.

How to apply AESUB orange?

Spray
Apply AESUB orange from a distance of 15-20 cm. Spray the complete surface to be scanned. Operate the spray head and slowly move the spray can back and forth evenly, with the nozzle pointed at the object, to obtain an even coating. Avoid “wagging” the can.
Scan

After complete drying of AESUB orange, the object can be scanned as usual.

Done

The applied layer of AESUB orange evaporates independently after scanning. The otherwise time-consuming cleaning after application is no longer necessary.
