Los pellet de PVA o alcohol polivinílico son un polímero soluble en agua que se utiliza como material de soporte en impresión 3D. Está especialmente recomendado para utilizarlo en piezas fabricadas en PLA e indicado para piezas con difíciles accesos a su estructura de soporte o con soportes complejos o inaccesibles. El PVA se retira posteriormente disolviendo la pieza en agua.
Además, es un filamento biodegradable, no tóxico e inodoro.
